Children’s Program

Our children’s programming will resume in July 2023!

Religious Education for children is provided on the first Sunday of each month.  We sometimes use Old Quaker Language and call it First Day School.

Children join the adults for the first part of Meeting for Worship. After 10 minutes or so, the adults who have prepared that day's lesson will rise and invite  the children to accompany them to a children's room on the lower level (or sometimes outside if the weather is nice) for a story, art project, or some other child centered exploration of how the Spirit manifests itself in our world.

The children rejoin the adults in the main room at the end of Meeting for Worship.

The safety guidelines for our First Day School can be found here.
